We’re seeking responsible individuals to help take care of our clients’ beloved pets in our neighborhood of Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village and surrounding areas.
Our ideal candidate is caring, dependable, has a strong relationship with animals, and is comfortable with administering medications as necessary. If you’re a young professional in a career transition or just looking for part-time work, we’d love to have you join us!
We are looking for persons who can perform:
— Dog walking
— Pet Drop In Visits
— Pet Sitting
Candidates should live in and be able to service clients in Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village, and the surrounding areas.
Candidates should understand this is a part-time position that pays per service. Having a reliable source of income is recommended.
What are the requirements to work as a Dog Walker or Pet Sitter?
Age: 21+
Transportation: Reliable car and willingness to travel locally.
Availability: Flexible, including weekends and holidays.
Experience: Previous pet care experience is a plus but not required.
Background Check: Must pass a criminal and pet care background check.
What’s the pay and compensation?
Starting wage: $17–$20/hour.
Additional earnings: All tips go directly to the employee.
Holiday pay: Time-and-a-half for holidays.

Is training provided?
Yes! All new team members receive comprehensive training on safety, pet care, client communication, and Nicos K9 Fitness’s standards.
How does scheduling work?
Flexible part-time hours.
Weekends and holidays are often in high demand, so availability is a plus.
We’ll match you with clients based on our needs.
Work Locations
Must be willing to travel to the Customers Home or Apartment.
Our Service Area currently covers Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village, Hoffman Estates and surrounding areas.
We’ll try to set up schedules that are as close to you as possible.
